John R Quinn & Co has three specialist family law practitioners – John Quinn, Peter Doolan and Marion Morrison-Boyd – plus a team of experienced, capable support staff.

John R Quinn
John Quinn is an accredited family law specialist who has had extensive experience as a family lawyer.
John was admitted to practice in 1966 and established John R. Quinn & Co, Family Lawyers, to serve clients exclusively in the area of family law.
John has been an accredited family law specialist for over 12 years and his clientele include high profile businessmen and women and professionals from all fields both here and overseas.
John has addressed many lay groups on family law issues and has assisted the College of Law in the College’s training lawyers in family law. He is a trained mediator. He has also acted in many landmark family law cases in both the Family Court and the High Court of Australia.
John is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and is a member of the New South Wales Law Society. |

Peter Doolan
Peter Doolan was admitted to practice in 1970 and has had extensive experience as a family lawyer.
Peter has been an accredited family law specialist for over 12 years and was a partner in a major family law practice in Sydney before joining John R Quinn & Co, Family Lawyers. Peter was instrumental, along with a former Registrar of the Family Court, in establishing a legal liaison meeting between the court and the legal profession that has operated for many years. Peter has written papers and delivered presentations to the legal profession on issues arising in family law. He has also assisted at the College of Law in educating lawyers who wish to become accredited family law specialists. Peter has hands-on experience in all aspects of family law and was the lawyer in a number of leading family law cases.
Peter is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and is a member of the New South Wales Law Society. |

Marion Morrison-Boyd
Marion Morrison-Boyd joined John R. Quinn & Co in 2002 and has worked exclusively in the area of family law since that time.
Marion deals with all aspects of divorce and de facto matters, child support and spousal maintenance.
Marion is also a trained mediator.
Marion is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and is a member of the New South Wales Law Society.
